The teamwork agreement is a contract between all members. It should be relevant to everyone and to the work you do. Treat it as a living document by visiting it regularly and making updates if necessary. Feel free to experiment! If a particular supplement doesn`t work, you can always go back. So many people that I have to thank for the support they have given me during this trip, I would like to thank first of all the teams who have really been up to the task through this process. If they had not, I would not have been able to understand the power of employment contracts, and it is more about know-how than building words. The idea of working agreements can be applied to each meeting, group of people, with the aim of improving the effectiveness of the group. As I said before, you will have agreements, whether you talk about them explicitly or not, so you may as well use the idea of becoming more effective. Work agreements describe positive behaviours that are fundamental but often not automatically demonstrated in team processes. An agreement could be, for example: “We all agree to participate fully.” Agreements are the group`s instrument of power. The elements of the labour agreement should be made public throughout the team process. The Daily Scrum usually takes place at the beginning of the day. For a distributed team, it is necessary to obtain a team agreement for the daily scrum time, which is suitable for all team members. Each day at the same time and at each location, scrum development team members spend a total of 15 minutes reporting. Each member of the team summarizes what they did the day before, what they will do today and the obstacles they face.
The Daily Scrum is supposed to disrupt old separate work habits. Members should remain vigilant about the signs of the old approach. Team agreements are required at each sprint ceremony. Teamwork agreements are a simple practice that you can use to do wonders for building new teams and reforming existing teams. These agreements are a consolidation of guidelines defining how groups want to work together and what they ideally want, both in the workplace and each other, to promote a safe and open productivity environment. With a new sense of camaraderie, I thought it might be a good time to check these observations and get feedback. Once again, silence reigns within the teams.
